Back to Washington
Spokane River
Those paddlers
willing to cross the dry expanses of Eastern Washington on I-90 looking
for somewhere to surf should be richly rewarded by The Spokane River
especially during the peak of Spring Run-off. The Spokane River has
numerous play spots that work at a wide range of water levels from flood
to low-late summer flows. Most of the play spots on The Spokane are
located in close proximity to The Washington/Idaho State Line, just East
of City Center of Spokane, Washington. Some of the play spots are in
barely into Idaho, some are in Washington but all of them are easily
accessible from Interstate 90 which parallels the river fairly closely.
