McKenzie Drainage

     Like Portland has the Clackamas, Eugene has is own backyard river the Mckenzie. The McKenzie is home to several of the best play spots in Oregon. No matter what the season or the water level there is always something to surf on the McKenzie. Below are a list of destination play spots on the McKenzie:

Clover Point

Feature Type:  Big Waves, Waves & Holes depending on the water level.

Range:  Good from 2.7 feet on up, at Vida on the McKenzie.

Closest Town:  Nimrod, Oregon

Quality:  Four Star

Neils Point

Feature Type:  Wave

Range:  Best from 2.7 feet to 3.3 feet at Vida on the McKenzie.

Closest Town:  Nimrod, Oregon

Quality:  Three Star

No Picture

Red Sides

Feature Type:  Wave-Hole

Range:  Best from 1.2 feet to 2 feet at Vida on the McKenzie.

Closest Town:  Springfield, Oregon

Quality:  Two Star

No Picture

Brown's Hole

Feature Type:  Pour-over hole

Range:  Best from 2.1 feet to 2.5 feet at Vida on the McKenzie

Closest Town:  Springfield, Oregon

Quality:  One Star
